We had an absolutely fantastic time here! We traveled with a 12-year-old boy and grandparents, so we had the opportunity to try both the smaller and larger house – both were perfect for our needs. The houses are comfortable and cater to all needs. The accommodation is situated in a beautiful, quiet environment. The private beach, private pier, and the vast, tree-lined green area are, in my opinion, unique, and they allowed us to relax comfortably. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, making a perfect start to our days. The staff is exceptionally kind, always smiling, and helpful. From now on, a vacation at Lake Balaton means staying at Szép Balaton for us – we will definitely be coming back! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Where to start. This place is just simply fabulous. Do yourself a big favour and go there. Is is so spectacular. Amazing views on lake Balaton from either the rooftop and the garden. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Lovely breakfast that is served with a lot of love every day. Gorgeous rooms with a very nice bathroom. We brought quite some luggage because this was the start of our 2 week vacation but we were able to store everything perfectly. I honestly can say that you simply have to go there. Very close to the lake and in the middle between Badacsony and Badacsonytomaj. Both can be reached by foot quite easily and there are some nice restaurants to explore. The hotel also has their own bar where you just write down what you take. Lovely Hungarian wines by the bottle but also cold beers and light snacks. Go there you definitely won't be disappointed.

This is the fourth time we have now stayed at this property and it has been excellent each time. Its location right within the beach grounds is second to none and the owners are so friendly. The apartment is beautiful, modern and very well equipped. Everything you might need (other than a washing machine) has been thought of. It comes with a parking pass so you can leave your car close by, just outside the grounds. There are a few eateries nearby if you don’t want to leave and there are lots of places nearby to visit if you do want to check out all the area has to offer. The beach is our favourite in north Balaton. The facilities are clean and the water is always clean. Plenty of TV channels and a covered balcony is great if the weather isn’t great to be down at the beach.
