The food was great! The staff was awesome, the beach was great. My family enjoyed hunting for seashells. The locals are super friendly and even met other friendly tourists. Have to say we love the atmosphere of the island and hotel. Also have to mention we enjoyed the AC in the room!

My girlfriend and I went to The High Dive back in February and had such a wonderful experience. At the time, it was the end of the rainy season and we were the only guests in the hotel, but it also seemed like we were the only tourists on the island. It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The hotel itself and the restaurant/terrace area is beautiful. We had one of the beachfront bungalows and it was really great. Warm, stylish design, big comfortable bed, a ceiling fan and A/C, plus a spacious bathroom. Everything we ate at the High Dive, whether breakfast or the main menu, was delicious! The highlight of the experience here for us was the staff. The team is mostly local from the Gili Gede island. They treated us with such warmth that it felt like we were hanging out with friends and it meant that the overall experience had a very personal feeling. They helped teach us some of the local language but otherwise could speak English well, so we felt very comfortable. We didn’t actually Scuba dive, but did a snorkelling trip for 1 day and loved it. We saw some beautiful, colourful coral reefs, had lots of fun with the crew - stopping on a nearby island for a snack, fresh coconuts, and Lombok coffee was really special! Otherwise, contact with Lisa was always quick, friendly, and easy - she was really helpful and made us feel very welcome!

Everything. Room was very big with beautiful terrace and hammock in front. The owners were very friendly and really caring. Breakfast was really very nice. The place is in a small village which was clean compare to the other villages on the other side of the island and everyone was very friendly.

Definitely stay here if you're going to Gili Asahan! Beautiful boutique family-owned beachside hotel with great rooms, chef-designed menu, incredible facilities including on-site massage and free kayaks and paddleboard hire. The hotel also arranges snorkelling tours to the local secret Gili islands, and we swam with fish and turtles - stunning. There aren't many hotels on Gili Asahan and this seemed to be the best, most modern one by far.

I would highly recommend you to stay & choose this hotel to visit. I have loved the stay in Pearl Beach Resort. The bungalows are fantastic. They have all the amenities one needs in such secludet place. The bed is very comfortable, you have an open-air bathroom and on the front porch really comfortable chairs. There is free mineral water that is filled up daily and the resort runs 100% on solar energy (huge compliment to the owners and managers of this place for investing in this). Each and everyone of the staff is very kind and attentive - i highly appreciated them! The food qas delicious too! The snorkelling in front of the resort is fantastic and they are doing a great job in keeping everything clean (To the people critizising the plastic on the island: you are also part of the problem and that is not something to blame a resort for!).
