This homestay was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Right on a lovely beach where we could watch the fishermen come and go. We loved how peaceful it was and how clean the beach and area were. The hosts gave us great suggestions for a meal out, which was about 10minutes away and beachfront. We also enjoyed the meals we had at the homestay, particularly the Kerala style breakfasts. This homestay is so well cared for and the hosts are a really kind and generous family. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing garden and swimming poll area on the lake shores! Staff is so helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot with some ginger mixture when we had stomach issue. Gorgeous, indian decor, clean and spacious room (better book the one with lake view), good breakfast. Quite pricy but you have to pay for good standard in India. Nothing within walking distance (not an issue, just FYI), perfect for relax and doing nothing. :)

Kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff is first class, also provided a lot of help with transport and sightseeing. The homecooked food was excellent, the resort looked beautiful and was well protected by the resident peacekeeping dog.

Staying true to their philosophy of being eco-friendly, this CGH property was quiet and calm and celebrated the local food and culture. The staff were simply fabulous- special note of thanks to Jitin and Kavya from Chakara, Akhil from the Shack and of course the very talented Rizwan who played the music live (and let me sing as well!). I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The location is absolutely idyllic—right by a beautiful, quiet beach where you can truly relax. The family hosting us was incredibly kind and accommodating, always making sure we were comfortable and meeting our needs with great flexibility. A particularly touching gesture was when my mother felt unwell and had to stay behind while we went on a boat trip. The family took great care of her, which we deeply appreciated. The Backwaters are just a 15-minute drive away, making it a perfect spot for those who want both beachside tranquility and easy access to Kerala’s stunning waterways. I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming stay.
