I've been nearly brought to tears by many hotels, but never out of joy--until Taj Exotica in Goa. From start to finish, this hotel is perfect. That goes without saying. However, the reason my wife and I will be returning MANY more times to this hotel is because of the staff. And, yes, I'm naming names... Our endlessly patient driver, Euzenio, tried his best to guide us to a Rickshaw mechanic for our tuk tuk. We'd been doing the Rickshaw Run from Kochi and it'd been about time to feed the asthmatic gerbil on a treadmill, or whatever it is in the engine of auto rickshaws that allows them to rocket through India at 35 kph. Afterwards, he took us to Panjim for some lovely sightseeing and conversation. Great guy. We arrived back to our hotel room to discover an arrangement of chocolates in front of a framed picture of our tuk tuk left by the staff on our coffee table. Delighted, we picked up the picture and slowly realized it smelled of chocolate also and WAS MADE ENTIRELY OF CHOCOLATE--WHAT?! My wife and I ran circles around our room, screeching like seven year olds and feeling so special. A picture made out of chocolate? FOR US?! Few minutes later, the doorbell rings and standing in the doorway were Masoom, Raj, and Elvin--three kind faces from the Taj staff who had already been so sweet to us in previous exchanges. They wanted to give us another gift: a framed, non-chocolate picture of my wife and I standing by our Rickshaw. It was a picture I'd taken in Kochi for Launch Day and had WhatsApp'd to Raj earlier at his request, not knowing his master plan of surprising us. I thought it was for the maintenance or something! Their bubbly sincerity was so wonderful, and you could tell they genuinely cared. I've never been moved to tears by hotel staff in my life. Honestly, it's an experience my wife and I will talk about forever, and we will ALWAYS stay at Taj Exotica anytime we stay in Goa.

great location, right on the beach. nice helpful staff. a beautiful garden. the only thing was that the fridge and the leash were missing, then it would be a perfect accommodation

A little gem in Goa. Wonderful international type resort right on the seaside in Sernabatim beach, Goa. An all white Greek style property with expansive suites, lush gardens and absolute stunning views. We are two ladies who are regular visitors to Goa. We read about The Beach House Goa in many of the reviews and had been wanting to visit the place which happened. They have a spread out breakfast in their outer lawn and we also sampled their appetizers and drinks at a table laid out for us at their sea facing point right above the beach. They also have a spa which offers refreshing Indian, western and oriental massages. We tried out the Balinese massage and aromatherapy. The masseuses were very good. Their collection of pastries and desserts were absolutely first class. The management and staff were welcoming and professional.

Much better than I expected! If you wanna chillout and enjoy the beach this place is for you. The huts have a private bathroom and toilet and are really clean. The owner is a friendly man. In 20 meters walk is a nice beach shack where they have nice food, cheap beers and good WiFi.

In fact there is everything to be liked. We were warmly welcomed by the host of the marvellous bungalow Joseph Rodrigues. The bungalow had all the necessary arrangements. Perfectly clean and also a beautiful surrounding. It was a pleasure to the eyes of the beholder. The caretaker Rohit was very quick and efficient. Very humble & was helpful in every way. Ideally located, very good surroundings, place of serenity, close proximity to the zalor beach ⛱️ & restaurants. It was a great pleasure to stay at the Villa & we were delighted by the hospitality. I would sincerely recommend people to visit the awesome hospitality of the very humble host Joseph Rodrigues.
