The location, just steps away from the beach, offered breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility that’s hard to find elsewhere. Loved the way they have made the property, it has this very nice industrial design yet so cozy. Went with my parents and they absolutely loved staying in the Sea View room. Ostel had these really fun evening activities to participate in. We attended the Indo-african drumming circle and Bonfire event which was pretty cool. Planning my next trip already. It’s also quite close to most of the places in Auroville, so that was great.

We had a wonderful family trip at The Villa Pondichery. The main hall was very spacious with a TV and fridge, perfect for relaxing together. Breakfast was served hot and tasty.

The place is very close to both Pondicherry and Auroville, making it super convenient. The space is beautiful, especially the sit-out area—completely surrounded by greenery, which adds a peaceful and refreshing vibe. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here. The property has security cameras and gives a strong sense of staying at your own home. It’s calm, private, and comforting. The host was wonderful—warm and welcoming. Staying here didn’t feel like I was away from home at all. All the amenities listed on Booking.com were available and well-maintained. The space was super clean, and the surroundings were full of plants, which brought in such positive energy. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping among the trees was the best part—it felt so relaxing and close to nature. I would highly recommend this place. It’s a lovely little retreat!
