We had a very nice stay at Kovalam beach house. Large clean room with large bed, clean sheets and towels, good working AC and fan. The view ftom our balcony was amazing! Quiet neighbourhood, nice 15 minutes walk to Kovalam beach. There is a restaurant next door where you can have local or continental breakfast, lunch and diner. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We recommend this place!

The hotel is situated 100 metres from the beach front but is cosy and quiet. Our room was spacious, with a large comfy bed and hot water. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous and they gave us every food item we wanted. Wilfred, Christopher and the staff are friendly and strived to make sure everything was as to our liking. A great choice and good value.

Room was beautifully furnished - the owners clearly have a thing with antique furniture - and spacious, with a desk. Cosy ambience. Breakfast was cooked fresh for you each morning by a very kind cook. Different breakfast each day. Staff was so kind to drive me to the airport at 4:45 AM, without charge. A tuktuk to the city center is around 200 rupees and doesn't take too long.

I have been coming back to Santa Maria for the last 3 years. It has become my home away from home in Kerala. The husband-wife team, Aleena and Bijoy, are amazing hosts and the soul of this beautiful homestay. They live on the property with their two young boys and are always around to ensure that their guests are well taken care of. Breakfast offers a wide array of home cooked traditional Indian fare, but has some continental choices as well. Dinner is offered upon request. Both Aleena and Bijoy are passionate cooks and food at Santa Maria is delicious. - Rooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms with hot water and air-conditioning (Kerala does get hot in spring and summer). The rooms and the whole house are very clean. The tropical garden is a delight. The chirping of birds and the crushing waves the only sound you hear at night. Santa Maria is a piece of paradise. The perfect place for solo travellers, couples or families who seek a peaceful and safe place away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in India.

Group of 10 people ( 5 rooms) stayed for a team get together. Everybody is satisfied with the accomodation at Skylounge. Very Neat and clean rooms & Washrooms. Clean & green surroundings. Very Near to Cliff & Beach. Guest Manager Nikhil is a Very helpful person. He has arrived near us whenever we called him for something and handled every requested arrangements neatly. He is a musician too.
