Beach Hotels in Ancona

As an avid traveller and writer, journeying across the world at least sixteen times a year, I have learned to expect the unexpected. Yet still, I found myself pleasantly surprised—this apartment is a true emerald among the many jewels I’ve discovered, and it has quickly earned a treasured place in my personal ranking. This two-story residence is nothing short of imperial in scale—spacious, airy, and thoughtfully designed. The open-plan living area, with its soaring ceilings and seamless blend into the kitchen, exudes a sense of freedom I deeply cherish. From the balcony, a breath-taking view unfolds—a daily theatre of sunset painted in impossible colours, one of nature’s quiet masterpieces. The apartment is well-equipped, offering every modern convenience for both families and solo wanderers alike. The bathroom, adorned in vintage Italian charm, boasts a large mirror, a shower, a toilet, and even a bidet—touches of elegance that speak to thoughtful design. Upstairs, the rooftop loft beckons with a cosy fireplace and two single beds, connected to the lower floor by a whimsical spiral staircase—sure to capture the hearts of curious, mischievous children. Though the area outside bustles with life, the apartment itself is a serene retreat. Just outside lies the main street, from which a bus to Ancona can be caught for a mere €1.40—a straight and simple path, impossible to lose. A local shop awaits just 400 meters away, reachable even by a lovely walk along the beach, which itself is only about 100 meters from the house. The beach is a delight, featuring slides for children and a charming seaside restaurant staffed by the warmest souls. From 7:30pm, they craft exceptional pizzas for just €8, and the cuisine is beautifully, authentically local—Anconan at heart, and absolutely fantastic. The host? A true gem of a person. While English may not flow fluently, a translation app bridges all gaps, and his kindness speaks louder than words. For now, I’ll just say:

Nice large room with a double and single bed with a large bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. Our host was extremely friendly and provided a delicious breakfast including an assortment of meats, bread, fruit, yogurt, homemade jams and cake and really good cappuccino.

We were only here for one night, but bed was comfy, apartment was massive with clean facilities!

Very nice apartment, steps from the sea. You couldn't ask for a better location to enjoy the sea in Ancona. It's far from the center, but very easy to reach by bus--plus the walk on the passegata is lovely. The apartment had everything one could need for a weekend away or longer. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable and everything works well.

The property is in a nice and quiet residential area, very close to a number of good restaurants and at walking distance from the beach of Marcelli. The beach of Numana can be reached by means of a free shuttle, but you can also choose to walk there as we diff (35 minutes). The house has a nice garden with a beautiful plum tree (and you can help yourself with the plums). The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The host is extremely nice and helpful. Overall, excellent value for money.
