Beach Hotels in Catanzaro

Great with wonderful view right on the beach.

Camera stupenda, vista incredibile.

We loved everything about the Blu Marine. The location is a little outside the Port area where most of the hotels are, but that's a good thing. The beaches at the Port are packed with rows of sun loungers and people.The Blu Marine has a huge, long, quiet stretch of beach right in front of the building. There are a couple of Lido restaurants with sun loungers for hire but we like a bit more space, so Michelle gave us a sun umbrella. All we had to do was cross the road and put it up and jump straight into the sea. We cannot praise this place enough! Everything about it was just lovely. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. The balcony was huge. We were on the 6th floor, so when we stepped out, all we could see was sky and sea. Michelle was so welcoming and friendly. She doesn't speak any English and we have zero Italian so we got by with Google Translate. Her brother Antonio speaks perfect English so if we had anything complicated to ask, we called him on his mobile phone. He couldn't have been kinder. He even offered to book a restaurant when we couldn't find one that was open. The breakfast was simple and delicious. There's a big fridge in the kitchen for water and we could make our own tea and coffee there anytime. We loved this area. It's not just for tourists, people actually live here. It's not pristine but it felt really safe and we much preferred it to the Port area where the rest of our family stayed. There's a great little local pizzeria called Da Ciro just around the corner (6 euro for the best Margherita we've ever had!). And we could walk to a lovely fruit shop and a small supermarket within two minutes. At night time, the promenade was full of people strolling and chatting until midnight. The atmosphere was just magical.

Breakfast and cooking facilities were brilliant, a massive help to be able to cook dinner in the evening too. Despite a language barrier everything was explained fantastically and all questions answered promptly. The location was near to a fantastic beach and woodland, brilliant in the evenings and well worth the walk from the station compared to a property in town

Great room with a huge hot tub. It was very relaxing and comfortable to stay there.

Everything was great, the app has everything you may need, all is working, it was very clean and when you learn to close the windows at nights you can’t hear anything from the street :) big plus for covered parking! Giuseppe was super friendly, helped us with everything!

Good value, very central, close to restaurants and beach and marina

The house we stayed in is located in a quiet private garden. It is very close to the sea. There is also a swimming pool and outdoor showers. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The holiday in this environment was beautiful.
