We were very impressed by the proximity to the wonderful shore of Cernobbio, which allowed us to take a ferry and reach Como in just 5 minutes. The apartment was impeccably clean and equipped with everything needed for our stay. The hosts were kind and ready to assist, offering us breakfast by the lake and convenient parking a short distance from the property.

Sheer perfection. The food. The hospitality. The beauty. The cleanliness. I genuinely had the most perfect holiday, thanks especially to Silvia and Pietro! Despite my flight getting delayed 3 hours, Silvia met me walking from the bus stop and her family still ensured that I had the most delicious dinner ever. Seriously…at the first bite of the carbonara I think even my ancestors smiled. Now *that* is how pasta should taste! Not least after a chaotic travel day and extraordinarily hectic past few weeks, I felt so moved the minute I arrived, just taking everything in and that sense of finally feeling so at peace. The room was gorgeous and my balcony let me overlook bits of the lake as well. The view of the lake at mealtimes was perfection. I only had to walk a minute to access the private beach, where I spent every afternoon. I a review complaining about it being a pebble beach but… come on now, it’s a lake! I was not expecting white sandy shores lol. The water was clear and lovely, with space for shade and sunbathing. Staff at the hotel took care of everything. Transport options were simple with the bus and ferry; I didn’t have a car but didn’t need one. I met such friendly people. Life there for those three days was simple but exquisite and sheer bliss. I usually forget to comment on reservations, but this palace forced me to comment. Frankly, this is the best place I stayed in during my trip that started from Rome. Of course, this palace has been owned by a family for generations and has been updated in a modern style. I will definitely return 👍
