10/10 and more... The guest house is very nice, everything is new, clean, the room is specious, comfortable bed and a great shower! The view of the beautiful garden is just so calming, in 5min you can walk to the nearby beach and the local Buddhist temple. BUT the most beautiful thing about Sea Horizon is the family who runs it: they are the most amazing people... so kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. I had a great stay, I will definitely come back here ❤️ Everyone took very good care of me, the ladies cook fantastic homemade meals, you'll love every breakfast and dinner, I promise! And the uncle is such a lovely man to chat to! A special thanks goes to Sana (owner's brother) who always helped me to explore the area and kept me company. 🙏

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of fresh options to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. Cant wait to return!

We loved the Villa 826 Ahungalla. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Had a amazing bathroom with hot water and great shower. Great location, few minutes from the beach. It is very long and so beautiful. Owner was very kindly, friendly and helpful with everything. Breakfast also very delicious and had a very tasty sri lankan items and homemade by family. Highly recommended!

Villa Nilnara was a great place to stay. The location was super clean and comfortable. The food was super nice! We had fresh fish with a nice and fresh salad. Also the variety of the breakfast was nice (local or international breakfast). Every day we were asked about the timing when we want to have breakfast and dinner and the staff was super flexible. The accommodation is located directly at a really nice beach. Which is super empty because there are almost no neighbors or tourist accommodations around. The “garden” and the pool offers enough space for everyone to have private and quiet time. Above all the staff was really friendly and helpful. Once our WiFi was broken and they arranged someone to come to fix it immediately. They also arranged a scooter. Everyone made us feel very welcome.

The property was beautifully crafted so as not to disturb the stunning surrounding nature. The wooden and thatched finishes really added to the natural look and feel of the environment. The open air restaurant as well as tables and chairs nestled in what I loved to call “secret hiding places” as a child was so thoughtful and made me smile. Every area felt cared for and appreciated which I really felt from the moment I arrived. Barbara, Lars and the team are just incredible. Everyone was so attentive and zen but I appreciated they also allowed me my lone wolf time so I never felt disturbed or intruded upon during my quiet time of reflection and rebooting. I highly recommend Jungle Beach and I cannot wait to return!!! I am already anticipating my next holidays to revisit!! Thank you so much All for such a beautifully relaxing and restful time!! PS - On a separate note the food is also amazing and I often saw guests from neighboring hotels eating at Jungle Beach also! Just such a beautiful place and very grateful for the incredible experience!!

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. We had a wonderful one night at this villa—fantastic surroundings, just a 2- 3 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend! While our room's AC wasn't working, we trust they'll fix it soon.
