Our experience at this property was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, as though we were guests in a home filled with warmth and charm. This place is unlike any other—a true oasis where you can completely immerse yourself in the vacation spirit. Every detail has been so thoughtfully designed and curated, creating an environment that is both stylish and comfortable. The house has a distinct and beautiful design that blends effortlessly with the natural surroundings, giving it a unique character that made our stay unforgettable. The pool is undoubtedly the cherry on top. After a day exploring the area or even just lounging around, it was the perfect place to unwind, cool off, and enjoy some quiet moments. You could easily spend the entire day here, relaxing and taking in the serene atmosphere. The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. And as for us, this has become a must-visit destination, and we’ll definitely be returning whenever we’re back in Galle.

Darshi, Oshi and their three kids who live on the property were the most amazing hosts. Darshi is a phenomenal cook. The food was out of this world!! If you asked for a particular dish, it was delivered! Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. We also learnt much about the local culture from Darshi and Oshi.

We were really looking forward to our trip to Sri Lanka from Spain. We planned everything ourselves. We didn't do it through an agency, I was looking at Booking and Urban Galle Villa had very good reviews and we decided to go for it and we were right. It is located in the middle of the typical streets of Galle with lots of greenery and tranquility. It is a two-storey, four-bedroom, colonial-style family house, which we almost filled because there were 7 of us. We were the only guests for those 5 days and we were literally pampered by Xabi (he said we should call him that to make communication easier), his brothers and his mother, who helped Xabi with the breakfasts, which were all prepared to our liking. The times we went out early, like on safari or whale watching, they even prepared tuppers for us to take with us. Xabi was always there for whatever we needed. He really made us feel at home. If we ever come back to the island, which is quite possible, we will definitely stay at Urban Galle Villa again. In these days after our departure a swimming pool was being finished, which will give the facility more value and will certainly make the stay more enjoyable. We can only say: Thank you very much for everything, Xabi.

The room is really big for 1 person. The family owns the property. Everyone is so friendly and I feel very comfortable. They even gave me wood apple juice. And made tea the next day in the morning but since I was rushing for the train back to Colombo I couldn't drink. Felt so bad. If you don't mind like me to listen to the train passes by go for it.

The building is exceptionally beautiful! We had the luck to be upgraded to a room with garden view. The whole team was super kind and supportive. Don't judge a book by its cover is what i should say about this property , The pictures don't justify the beauty of this property you have to visit it to believe it . absolutely amazing one and very very beautifully curated with good sense of interiors hygiene was Top notch and owner himself was very very cautious about taking care of the guests - really felt very good staying at this property for 2 nights the entire staff was very very cooperative and i would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Train Boossa then Tuk Tuk to guest house worked well. Right on the beach with a lovely sea breeze and sunsets from local bar. Lovely family run property. Saman was friendly and extremely helpful and we did a tour with him which we enjoyed a lot.

The first place we stayed during our trip so it was a good place to recover from jet lag as we didn't plan to do much. The accommodation was right on the beach & was lovely to just step right out onto the sand. The south coast has some strong waves so just be careful when going for a dip! Nice backpacker hostel along the beach that served drinks with a sunset view. Had a few places to eat & fairly priced too.

Amazing little homestay located right on the beach.you can access the private beach, but it's not good to swim. The room was air conditioning and clean. The host welcomed and cared for us as their own relatives. The meals were amazing and super delicious. She prepared us crabs and a large fish, which made it fresh. The owner brought us to very nice spots in Galle city area, including a boat safari.. It was wonderful .. Thank-you Darshi for everything.. you made our day with lots of fun.

The location is right on the beach. You can see dolphins swimming early in the morning (around 7: am). Beds are comfortable and you can hear the waves of the Ocean from your Cabana.
