Decent breakfast. Served on time. The owner was very helpful in organising a vehicle to go to Kandy. Cheaper than Uber. Some of the Booking.com Questions are not applicable to Homestays and small guest houses such as this. Everything was fine.

I really liked the place and the room :) the room has a mosquito net and a fan as well as an own bathroom! The beach is super close. The real highlight of the place is the family living there who gives you advices and helps you with everything as well as their little daughter!

Ayana Beach Boutique met my expectation of cleanliness and comfort from the room to the beach. I brought my own food as I have dietary restrictions and also my herbal medicines. The room didn’t have fridge but they let me put my things in their fridge. They brought to my room and reminded me of my medicine so I can take it on time. They also offered a plate and cutlery for my food. They’ve been nice, polite and very helpful in so many ways. The place is quiet and so serene that you can totally relax and disconnect on a budget. Beautiful view of the sunset and the sea, lovely sound of the waves and fresh air…I will definitely go back when I get the chance.

Sanjeewa and his wife provided a warm welcome to Sri Lanka . I arranged a lift from the airport with them which is only 10 minutes away . Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning was lovely and always served with a smile . The room was clean ,cool and mosquito free . Sanjeewa was an excellent source of local information and helped me with my ongoing travel itinerary As a sole female traveller I felt safe here The overall experience was warm , friendly , clean , convenient and excellent value for money

I've been here for three weeksnow, and I enyyed the stay very much stay. It's the perfect place for those who appreciate privacy and value peace and quiet instead of crowded resorts. The location is fantastic, with the apartment separated from the beach and ocean only by a fence. In front of the apartment is a covered veranda where the host serves meals. You can admire the sunset from the veranda or even from your bed. Peace, quiet, and the sound of the ocean waves are all around you. The apartment is clean and cozy, and has good air conditioning. Suranga, the host, is very helpful and takes care of all the amenities. He lives next door and is easy to contact via WhatsApp. He offers airport transfers, and along the way, I could withdraw money from a Bank of Ceylon ATM (no REVOLUT commission). The internet works but is limited, however if there are any problems, Suranga responds quickly. This is a fishing village, so the beach is completely deserted, peaceful, and quiet. There are no rocks in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, so you can swim, but beware of the waves, which are sometimes huge and can knock you off your feet, as I have experienced personally. The only unpleasant circumstances are caused by garbage and plastic thrown up by the ocean, which accumulates above the beach. It's strange that it doesn't bother the residents. It would be enough to walk along the beach with a rake once a day and remove the garbage to a secluded place so as not to scare away potential guests. Breakfast is included in the price of the apartment, and Suranga and his wife also offer to prepare dinners. They serve delicious local food, especially seafood and fish, caught by fishermen the same day, just a few dozen meters away on the beach. There is a kettle, and the host can also provide other basic kitchen utensils (plates, cutlery, etc.).
