The place is perfect! There is exactly what you need, a beautiful small pool, a large grass area, large rooms with air conditioning and a balcony, and most importantly the cleanliness, the staff was amazing, always helping with everything! The food is excellent, a bit expensive but really tasty. The villa is 35 minutes by tuktuk from Arugam Bay and a minute's walk from the sea (the beach is called Lighthouse)

We arrived at Whisky point not knowing what to expect. All I can say is that it exceeded our expectations in every way! We ended up extending our stay and became great friends with the owner, Nicola and his entire team! The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional! It could be the best Pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The fact that you are living on the beachfront, which is super clean with no crowds and a few minutes walk away from Pottuvil Point where you can catch good surf when the swell is good or swim off the main rock when its flat, makes this place the perfect location, away from the madness of Arugam Bay which can get super crowded. You can catch a tuk tuk to A Bay and be there in 10 minutes if you want to go into the A Bay. I am going to miss this place and my friends and will be back for sure! 10/10 all the way!

The hotel is SUPER! The best hotel during my entire trip to Sri Lanka (I was in more than 15 hotels in 24 days). Very cozy atmosphere. There are only 6 bungalows in hotels, it's not overcrowded. Delicious food, better than in the most cafes on the island. Very comfortable and friendly hosts! The pool is great! Everything is thought out - deck chairs, a place for sunbathing right in the water. The pool is surrounded of palm trees! It's about 50-100 meters to the sea. The only negative thing for lovers of flat water is big waves on the coast. Therefore, I spent 3 days next to the pool and absolutely happy about this! ))) But also it has a very beautiful sunrise! It's a nice, very remote place. The owner is the person making this place special. If you want to avoid the crowds.... that's your stay.

Really nice place! One minute from the beach and 15 minutes from whisky point (surf spot). Kind and always available staff. The owner organised for us the Kumana Safari (just two of us on the Jeep), the Lagoon safari and the road trip to Ella, everything without commissions. We also tried the restaurant and was really good, always fresh fish and fresh fruit.

This family-run hotel was incredible. The hosts were so kind and helpful - they drove us wherever we needed and helped with everything. The home-cooked food was delicious, with huge, satisfying portions that we looked forward to every day. We truly felt at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
