Incredible hotel. Architecture is great. Room was huge with spectacular sea view. Staff was super attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food as well. The staff arranged in room massage that was excellent, and we also enjoyed a Sri Lankan cooking class on the pool deck that was a real treat. This hotel is splurge but very much worth it.

Flamingo Beach Resort is located in Unawatuna Rooms come with a fan or air-conditioner and some boast a four-poster bed. Each is equipped with a private bathroom with hot water supply.

What great accomodation. Right on the beach front, the pictures don’t do the place justice. Aircon worked a treat. The balcony was so lovely sitting out watching the sunset. Was much more private than we though when sleeping two couples. Split living areas which was awesome. Our host Romesha was so helpful and the team downstairs at the diving school and bar to the right of the building were so helpful, with food, drinks and sun beds available. Highly recommend.

This place is MAGICAL. From the moment we arrived we where in awe at the beautiful property. The photos on booking.com do not do it justice. Each room was stunning, the open plan dining/living area had space for big groups and the pool and garden where so well maintained. Beautiful property. The staff made our trip- we became like a little family. They could not do enough for us day to day. The chef prepared some of the best food we have ever tried and totally catered to all of our needs. Nothing was too much for them and they went above and beyond without being asked. They genuinely made our stay there magical.

First of all the villa was phenomenal! The location, design, rooms, pool, garden, access to the beach with one word AMAZING. But the staff made the whole experience unforgettable. Shaminda, Samson and Eranga were absolutely amazing. The chefs food was beyond delicious, he made us everything we wished for and everything exceeded our expectations. Also Eranga’s service was impeccable, from the cleaning of our rooms to the cutest table settings and specially his kindness. 10/10

We had a fantastic stay at The Royal Indigo Villas. The room was spotless, and the entire complex was well-maintained, making it feel fresh and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant manager was especially kind always giving extra attention to guests and ensuring our stay was perfect. The Villa is a boutique retreat, ideal for relaxation or family gatherings. Plus, it’s just a short Tuk Tuk trip from the lively Unawatuna shopping and restaurant strip The complex has been architecturally deigned with so much attention to detail and quality. We had a wonderful stay and built great memories with staff and the Villa owner Stuart and his family.

Villa Ishq is a wonderfully luxurious villa set on a beachfront location in Talpe on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The 5 bedroom suites are very well appointed and the bathrooms are huge and beautifully designed. What sets Villa Ishq above others is the staff. Led by the villa manager Nimal the staff are both many in number and super attentive. The cuisine is superb with all the local curries cooked fresh every day. We could order almost anything which was sourced locally and cooked to perfection. We had a most wonderful time! Many thanks for hosting us!
