Incredible hotel. Architecture is great. Room was huge with spectacular sea view. Staff was super attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food as well. The staff arranged in room massage that was excellent, and we also enjoyed a Sri Lankan cooking class on the pool deck that was a real treat. This hotel is splurge but very much worth it.

Flamingo Beach Resort is located in Unawatuna Rooms come with a fan or air-conditioner and some boast a four-poster bed. Each is equipped with a private bathroom with hot water supply.

Everything! The place and the owners were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were big and very clean. We booked for one night and stayed a few more days, as we really liked the place. Ill definitely come back! Thanks for your hospitality, good luck!

A wonderful way to end our vacation in Sri Lanka! We enjoyed the pool (clean water! good for splashing about and for laps!), rooms (tastefully decorated) and grounds (impeccably kept), breakfast (varied and tasty), and yoga (instructor was patient and well-informed). It seems every aspect was thought through with great care for guests' comfort and relaxation.

​My time at Nice Days Resort in Unawatuna was simply unforgettable and exceeded all my expectations. I said in my last review that I would be back in December and I was. The two floored apartment has had a major upgrade in that the top floor has now been converted into a huge room with two 4 poster beds in it. This, together with the bed on the lower floor, makes it ideal for family’s with children who want their own privacy, or a group of friends. We were just a couple and enjoyed it as much as last time. The fact that it is literally on the beachfront makes this a must go to property. Romesha, the owner, met us for check in and was so helpful throughout the week. I still love the fact that there are over 30 restaurants along the beach for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s the perfect location for a Sri Lankan beach holiday. We will return in March. ❤️❤️

This place is MAGICAL. From the moment we arrived we where in awe at the beautiful property. The photos on booking.com do not do it justice. Each room was stunning, the open plan dining/living area had space for big groups and the pool and garden where so well maintained. Beautiful property. The staff made our trip- we became like a little family. They could not do enough for us day to day. The chef prepared some of the best food we have ever tried and totally catered to all of our needs. Nothing was too much for them and they went above and beyond without being asked. They genuinely made our stay there magical.
