We spent 5 nights in beginning of July at Aurora Lodge, and loved every minute of it! Despite the weather being ever changing, it was such an amazing place to be. Karen, the owner, was very welcoming and her staff were very nice and helpful. The bungalow was well equipped, and although simple, had everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the cooking class and visiting the neighboring vanilla plantation, showed to us be the very passionate owner. Also just walking around the island, having lunch at the close by, very relaxed restaurant, Le Fafana (a must visit spot!) and exploring Iles Sainte Marie.

Best host ever. She shopped our groceries at the town, and she also offered us a great whale tour with her boat!

Everything. The bungalow was the nicest I had in Madagascar with mind blowing views, beautiful details, all of natural and local material and very clean. Every morning I was watching the sunrise from my bed!! The beach was fabulous and really quiet. The breakfast was very large and very tasty - I was always full till the evening - and they serve it at your bungalow or at a table on the beach. What was especially nice was the efforts of the staff to prepare vegetarian meals for me. Nelly (the owner) has been so kind, accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend to stay at Kintana Lodge.

Very nice stay right on a lovely beach where we were alone. Staff very friendly, good food.

Everything about this place is amazing and magical! 200% recommend! I would go back now if I could! The place is clean and super neat, the details make the difference! They put fresh flowers every day, everywhere! And in the evening a lady comes and puts down the mosquito net around the bed and puts some mosquito repellent around the bungalow. The food is great and cheap and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The boss even upgraded us to a nicer bungalow without paying extra. Highly recommend the tour at Ilots au sable and the pic nic (grilled lobster pic nic!). It is really the best place

We visited Maningory the second time. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding! The personell is very nice and attentive. We just love it, could stay here for month!

The location is spectacular, the staff are all so helpful and nice. The woman manager went above and beyond to organise tours or transport and help us enjoy our stay. The ability to see whales from the terrace was magical. The food is excellent with an extensive lunch and dinner menu. Room was large and comfortable, anti mosquito plugins and sensible nets were standard. The hotel has a group of giant tortoises as well which were fun to see.
