From the very first moment, we arrived at the airport and met the Kandolhu team until our departure. Every detail of our stay was flawlessly orchestrated to create an exceptional experience. Though we stayed for only three nights, the warmth, professionalism, and excellence of the team made it truly unforgettable. Location: The journey itself is part of the magic—just a 20-minute scenic seaplane flight followed by a short 5-10 minute boat ride that transports you to this paradise. The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Spa: We had the 'couple ritual'. A sanctuary of relaxation, the spa at Kandolhu offers a truly rejuvenating experience. everything is cleaned and looked after, employees have exceptional customer service and the island is just amazing

The house reef really worth to go and see there for: it's just few steps from the shore with many fishes, live corals, anemone fishes (clownfishes), baby sharks, some sea turtles. We were even lucky to see one Manta. We enjoyed free snorkelling equipment. Only be aware that there are always strong currents arround the island, but we thought they are pretty safe. Besides - water sport instructors organize a free snorrkeling guide twice a day. We enjoyed a very good soundproof of the water villa, even on strong wind / waves day / night. The food is always fresh and tasty. The wi-fi is pretty good. We didn' lock the door of our water villa - we felt very safe there. We enjoyed a Vertical reef and Coral garden excursion - highly recommended. There is some very good vibe on this island which you can't love. It's not a cheap resort, but it's worth 100%. Some day we'll come back :)

Had a great holiday in here. Got one of the best hospitality, rooms were clean and right infront seaview and 1 min away from the beach. If you're looking for a genuine Maldivian experience with breathtaking beaches and adventurous excursions, this is the place to be. We left with full hearts, countless memories, and a promise to return. 😇🥰

Beautiful hotel at the beach on a calm local island. Staff are incredible nice and there is variety of tours available, so there is no chance to get bored. Snorkeling with mantas, turtles, fishing...you can do anything. SUP rental was available too and it was great to paddle around. Akeyz is very attentive and ready to help. There is a roof top restaurant and they also serve delicious coffee. Thank you for beautiful memories :-)

Ahmed and his support staff we're very friendly and accommodating and it was quite special that they took us out on a day trip as well. We didn't end up seeing whale sharks, but the trip was enjoyable none the less. The wifi was good for maldives, the breakfast was as good as the view from the beach, the rooms were clean and they made us feel very special. Location was amazing close to the tourist beach, but Omadhoo is amazing and sold itself as a quiet gem.
