This hotel is a gem! We even got an upgrade when we arrived and we felt like in paradise. The whole place is beautiful and it is situated on the BEST beach of Holbox. Trust me, it is simply breathtaking and super clean. I saw the other hotels' beaches and they were not as well kept as this one. It's not the closest to the city center, but you are on holiday...so why hurry? You will go on a very enjoyable 15 mins walk to the city :) Staff is amazing and the whatsapp food service is really useful.

Quiet and peaceful paradise! The villa is gorgeous and so are the rooms - luxury for Mexico indeed (e.g. hot water with strong pressure, nice interieur). We felt right at home. It was also great that the guests can use the big and well equipped kitchen (I didn’t see it in the description, so it might be good to know in advance). in our opinion, there are more/ better restaurants at the other part of the island/ in the centre and even so you can walk along the beach in general, you might need a taxi in the evening. As there is no breakfast included we would recommend buying a few things in advance at the supermarket / market for fruits which is in the centre (good and cheap). Check out the beach clubs Mazura and Corolinda! As the villa is directly at the beach the view is amazing. We had a lot of seagrass (Check the best travel-time in terms of seagrass), but from the terrace the view was still nice and the smell not too bad (as at other places we passed). There are also a lot of mosquitos on that part of the island. The nicest thing was the team in the villa! Everybody was sooo friendly, offering coffee in the morning and just being there for us. It is also possible getting your laundry done for small money. There is a hotel next to the villa: „Nomade“. The food was too expensive for the equality, but the restaurant is very lovely and special and they offer nice sessions like Yoga, Sound Healing, which you can join and pay 20 or 25 US dollars. We would definitely stay there again (in fact, we even stayed one night longer than planned).

Great location, excellent service, and delicious breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring all our requests were met. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed for a perfect holiday. We loved every minute of our stay! One more thing. We saw dolphins from our terrace at breakfast! How cool is that?!

It was the best hotel we stayed during our trip in Mexico. It is great for couples, we had every morning a romantic breakfast next to the beach. Everything looks like on the pictures and the staf is amazing (btw great food!). They made an extra experience out of our stay. The pool is cool and super clean and the beach the best what we saw on the island. We didn't want to leave!

Everything! This was easily the BEST service that we have ever had in our lives of traveling. The whole team at Carocal are so welcoming, friendly and helpful from the very moment you arrive until the moment you leave. If you’re sitting out on the beach sun lounges for sunset, staff bring you glasses of champagne to enjoy while you watch it go down. Every single night, someone brings a new mini dessert to your room and if you’re not there, they leave it in your bar fridge for you so it’s always so nice to come home to! We were even offered a cheese platter and bottle of wine to enjoy on our last night there but we were out in town so missed it - but the thought was very kind and we really appreciated it! Special shout out to Angel who remembered our preferences for breakfast every morning.

Everything. The staff, particularly Martin, were wonderful. A beautiful aesthetic throughout, fabulous restaurant for delicious breakfast and supoer and beach bar for lunch. We loved Holbox and this is the jewel in its crown. We will return!
