The Prospect is nothing less than a shimmering jewel by the sea offering a quaint and intriguing step back in time. There is a magical ambience that ensues from the moment of check-in through check-out, and a welcoming graciousness and accommodating spirit that exudes from all staff members in every area. The cleanliness of the rooms and shared spaces is second to none!! The bathrooms are huge and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The people, long stay, are extraordinary additions to the experience. I've yet to behold such kindness, respect for everyone, and a polite, consistent sensitivity toward others' well being. There is a community here, and if you want, you are welcome to be a part of it. There is no lack of stimulating conversation. The restaurant/pub downstairs offers a selection of hearty menu items and drinks, including speciality coffees and teas, etc. I ordered a spiced latte and have never tasted anything so delicious. This town is a little utopia - everything is just precious and within walking distance. There are many lovely types of shops with beautiful things, coffee places, markets, etc. Something for everyone, and a great place to just walk and enjoy the cool bay breeze. Thank you for preserving an important part of history, not only architecturally, but in old fashioned, down to earth, customer service and care. ❤️

Modern decor. Clean and spacious. Washer/dryer machine came in handy. Easy free parking. Bed very comfortable. Great towels. Excellent location for cafes and restaurants, beach and bus to city centre.

Half Moon Bay Motel exceeded our expectations. The place was very large and comfortable and had a kitchen and fridge with a lovely out door seating facing the sea. The beds were comfortable and there was a nice divider between our sons bed and our bed with a large seating area. We loved how quiet it was with no road noise and there was a lovely view of the sailing harbour. Everything we needed was walking distance to walking boardwalk, cafes, grocery stores, restaurants and the sea! I even found a post office beside the cafes. A wonderful getaway for our family. We will definitely stay again.

The Waterfront Motel is located on the promenade of Bucklands Beach, just a 20-minute drive from Botany town centre. It offers self-contained apartments with an outdoor pool. Free WiFi is provided.
