If you are looking for accommodation for the undemanding, this is the right choice. The host Nana Rose is a very pleasant and nice lady.

Perfect conditions for rest, perfect room with the excellent bathroom, wonderful swimming pools, preparing gluten-free dishes for the child, special thanks to the chef, helpful staff.

Beach on the back， good for take a walk around for the sun rise ＆ see how fishers work 5. Delicious ＆ fresh food 6. Safe ＆ friendly local neighborhood。 Good to see how the local live 7.It＇s just around 15 mins walk to Tapilon port （boat to the paradise Carnaza island）。4 KMS to Maya port。 I＇ll look foward to stay here again

Our stay at Ocean Vida Hotel in Malapascua was truly delightful! The prime location by the sea created a picturesque backdrop for our experience. The massages were exceptional, ensuring a perfect blend of relaxation. The service was consistently warm and helpful. We couldn't get enough of the delicious food – the culinary offerings were a highlight of our stay, providing a delightful gastronomic experience. And of course, the Happy Hour added an extra layer of joy, with meticulously crafted cocktails. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to savor both the scenic views and the delectable cuisine!

(1) Perfect location: very quiet, on the other side of a hill so sounds from beach bars don't reach the rooms. It's especially apparent when you walk from the room to the beach in the evening: after you cross the summit you start hearing music from beach bars / restaurants, ones you didn't hear close to the room. (2) Quiet air conditioner: not very strong but sufficient for the room. (3) Decent-sized (not a small minibar type) and quiet (!) fridge, we for example bought fruits and stored them in it. (4) Basically nothing disturbs your sleep when in the room (except possibly your partner? ;-). (5) The real hidden gem is hotel's private beach, snorkeling on it you can see plenty of baby reef sharks!!! I saw maybe about 12 at the same time. Pro tip: don't swim too fast or too much, actually move your hands and feet as little as possible, otherwise you'll scare the sharks. Just get to the right place (a bit further out from the shore, near the rope) and wait a bit. Sharks will come. And don't swim in the area to the right of the entrance limited by rope, it's an area reserved only for the sharks. Instead, hold on to the rope so that you don't need to move and don't scare sharks away. (6) Nearby hotel Blanco Beach Resort has a very good restaurant next to the Tepanee's private beach, and this restaurant serves very tasty food and fresh juices. (7) Soft, comfortable beds (memory foam but it's fine). (8) Nice furnuture, room had a work table. (9) Good WiFi. (10) Hotel is built on a hill so you can save up on gym - just walking to / from your bungalow will burn enough calories ;-) (11) Views from this hill and the partner restaurant are breath-taking.

Our favorite accommodation in the Philippines so far!! So cute, earthy and cozy little huts, not to forget the lovely staff. All the little details made our stay so special. Good mosquito net and two fans do their job well. The location is great, next to the beach and the best restaurant in the island (Villa Potenciana) 🤍 Their mango float is to die for! We ate there every day during our stay in Malapascua. Live music almost every day. Can’t recommend Tribal Huts Community enough!
