What an excellent place to visit over midsommar weekend or any summer week. The grounds are fantastic. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are a litte cozy but this is a dorm, after all. Perfect hostel experience.

A fantastic place, so near the ferry terminal to make it very easy. Wonderfully helpful staff and lovely breakfast available. Easy to use bikes to get to the shop which is great fun to cycle to. We used bike trailers for children.  Also the communal kitchen is great and well stocked with equipment and plenty of room. The lunch packs and salads available were also great! Svartsö is a beautiful place to visit and great to try some where a little further out from Stockholm though only 2.5 hours on the ferry.

The included breakfast was amazing - eggs, pancakes, mini croissants, fruit, cheese, bread, smoothies, fruit juices, cereal choices. The outdoor activities cost a bit extra but made the visit so great for our kids (10 & 13). We did mini golf, soccer golf, the forest obstacle course, and alpaca feeding. The staff were all super friendly and the facilities were beautiful inside and out. There is also an ice cream shop and lots of gourmet candy for sale.

We came for a long weekend with our 10 year old son and another couple and it was just perfection. Sweden doesn't have the best weather so there is a lot to do when it's raining (it rained 75% of tour trip). Excellent little cottage in Stockholm's archipelago. If you are looking for a feeling of seclusion in Swedish nature, while still within reasonable driving distance of many amenities then I can highly recommend a stay at this property. Nice walks in the forests nearby, the property has direct access to the water, but there are also sandy beaches within a short drive. The property itself has everything you need to be comfortable, well equipped kitchen (hob but no oven), large fridge/freezer, working heating/hot water, grill + everything necessary to cook on it. Would certainly visit again.
