Wonderful staff, just so beautiful! Thanks to Dona Lourdes for the fantastic food and the spontaneous birthday cake, so incredibly yummy 🫶🏼 the bay is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, the pool is always clean and refreshing … the bungalows are just perfect!!!!

We loved absolutely everything there. It is on a perfect spot, in a lovely village close to an amazing surf spot. Spacious and very well equipped. From the first day we felt home. My husband and I spent two nights here and Celia is an amazing woman, she speaks perfect English, she is from Portugal but she has been living here on the cliff for many years with the local community and teaching them. It's a really beautiful place with its own rocky beach. There is often a problem with power cuts, but we didn't mind as we came to relax. The food was fabulous. They look after lots of dogs but only let them out when guests don't mind.

The breakfast was a buffet style and was better and with more variety than most European or American 4+ start hotels. Good quality food, good use of local foods, very attentive service. I liked how they used some of the local chocolate syrups and preserves, as well as fruits and coffee. Excellent view of the sea for a bonus! We also had shows every evening, including a local live band and a youth orchestra playing local music. Both were great! The starts of this hotel however were the staff. The front desk was efficient, they were ready for the check in, they had the bill ready for the checkout, and they were always smiling and eager to help. The bartenders and maids were also friendly and proactive, very proactive, same for the towel person at the pool. And Bruna was fantastic! she was all over the place, talking to guests and helping in any way possible from getting taxis to organizing tours, making dinner reservations at local restaurants, etc. In summary, customer service was in line with or better than most 4+ star hotels in Europe or the USA.

This is the perfect place to chill and be completely connected with nature and the beach. The house is big and nice, with a "private beach" just few steps down from the house. We stayed in a big room with private bathroom. The way to get there is complicated due to the rocky road, but the owners take you from and to the airport with a specific car for that kind of roads; also, they already have a plan to renew the road that will start during the first months of 2024, so that will be no problem anymore :) There is a guard during the night and the owners are very flexible with the transport, they are all super nice. To make the experience even better, we found 5 puppies from one of the two dogs that apparently live in the surroundings of the house, which was just perfect. We will be back!

This area is very safe, surrounded by embassies, and the host is truly exceptional. He speaks excellent English and even arranged a customized South Tour and Island–North Tour for me. He is intelligent, flexible, and adapts the itinerary perfectly to your timing. His mother also cooked dinner for me — a delicious and authentic local meal that I appreciated so much. If you plan to stay here, don’t forget to ask him to arrange your tours; he genuinely offers the best options. The room is clean, tidy, air-conditioned, and has hot water. It’s an excellent choice overall.
