This was my second stay at Seehaus Familie Leifer, and it felt just as peaceful and comforting as my first visit back in November 2023. The moment I arrived, I was reminded why I fell in love with this place—the serene atmosphere, the warmth of the surroundings, and the sense of calm it brings. Everything was spotless, just like my previous stay, which gave me such a reassuring sense of familiarity. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare simple meals, adding to the feeling of being right at home. I truly cherish my time here and would love to return again.

The drive through the periphery of wolfgangsee is beautiful. There is a nice Shawarma/pizzeria in the vicinity along with local cuisine restaurants. The Chinese restaurant is a 10 minutes drive in Bad Ischl.

There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We were welcomed very pleasantly. We were very happy to be able to check-in after check-in hours. We were even happier after hearing we are getting a free upgrade to a better room. The room was very clean and had stunning views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. At the breakfast table we had a great view of the lake and the breakfast-buffet offered a large selection. The available underground car park was very convenient. The highlight was the wellness area, which was accessible through a underground tunnel. The outdoor pools are comfortably warm (34 degrees) and the finish saunas are great. We really enjoyed sunbathing in the textile and textile free area, we felt very comfortable due to great sight protection. The privat access to the lake was also very cool and calming.

The accommodation was excellent – very clean, spacious, and perfectly equipped down to the smallest detail, so we didn’t miss anything from the very first moment. They also offer fresh bakery products every morning. There’s a slope behind the house, and the owners are happy to lend sleds, so the kids went sledding. It’s also a great starting point for visiting many beautiful places in the area.

The luxurious and completely renovated studios are furnished in a modern alpine style including fully equipped kitchens with dining areas, bedrooms with box-spring bed, living rooms with flat-screen TVs, bathrooms with rain shower and hairdryer. This is such an eclectic, cosy apartment in the perfect location. Stephan, the owner, was a lovely host! The apartment is tiny but well appointed with everything you need, with restaurants and bars right downstairs and the jetty a few minutes walk away. We stayed in summer as a family, and though the street below is lively on the weekends there was an air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom which cooled and concealed the noise from diners. The master bed was beautifully comfortable, the shower included locally produced amenities, and a sliding door separated the living room where the kids slept on the sofa bed. There’s even a one-person infrared sauna. Loved it. We will return.
