Placencia Beach is a few steps from the hostel. Placencia Airport is 4 km away. Perfect location right on the beach! The room was spacious with fans and lots of light. The host was amazingly helpful and tidied the space every day. Wifi was strong, the showers were warm with good pressure, and you could also drink the tap water.

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The staff were so sweet and helpful and truly made the experience special for us. When even had a flat tire one day and they handled everything for us while we were gone for the day. The facility is gorgeous, the food and drinks are tasty, the location is perfect, and the value is excellent. I can't recommend it enough!!

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. We LOVED our 4 nights at playa de coco, all fantastic. We had a majesty suite which was HUGE and had a massive private terrace. The suite is one of 4 rooms that shares a private pool (and self catering facilities, including a washing machine which was useful). The view from the room and terrace were picture perfect. Beach was kept immaculate (raked each day), loungers under cabanas, had it pretty much to ourselves, and has a lovely deck into the water. Free kayaks and paddleboards. We went for a kayak and were joined by a pair of manatees swimming along with us; really magical. All staff; managers; restaurant and housekeeping were fantastically friendly and helpful. We met the owner too, lovely and interesting guy. Restaurant is on the roof terrace for more of the same great view … Room was quiet and bed was very comfy. The suite had a dressing room, little bunk room, enormous shower / bathroom plus an outdoor shower area, (and coffee machine 😊) . Running out of superlatives here .. 😂 the best bit is we’re going back next week!

Absolutely the best boutique hotel we stayed at in Belize! Everything at Kalimera Beach is so thoughtfully designed — from the moment we arrived, we felt more like family than guests. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their attention to detail makes the stay unforgettable. You get ice for your drinks or to make a refreshing iced coffee (which became our daily ritual). There’s a water tap in front of each room to rinse the sand off your feet before going inside — a small but brilliant touch. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into everything here. There are hammocks, a beach gym, paddleboards, kayaks, and games — it’s literally impossible to get bored. The absolute highlight? Sipping an iced coffee while relaxing in a hammock right by the beach, watching the waves roll in. Sometimes you even get a fresh coconut! They also organized an incredible tour for us to Laughing Bird Caye — it was breathtaking, and we even saw a shark! We truly loved every second of our stay. Kalimera Beach is a place you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of the family. Can’t recommend it enough!
