This was one of our multiple stays in Costa Rica, and we were truly impressed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Above all, the Refugio concept — which includes a beautiful café and a cozy bar offering excellent food and drinks — truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike at other accommodations, we didn't have to eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast every day, but could instead choose from a wide variety of delicious brunch options directly from the restaurant/bar. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed — from arranging surf lessons to recommending great local restaurants. We were mainly in touch with Augustin, who took excellent care of us. Overall, we were delighted with our stay and can highly recommend this place.

My husband and I LOVE Palmetto Lodge the best from our stay in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful, and secluded, with an amazing view. The owners were so kind and inviting. They've worked so hard on their property and the work is 1000% reflected in their lodge. The breakfast was AMAZING! Everything homemade. Their hospitality was the best.

A tropical oasis. Not just a quirky stay, but genuinely beautiful accomodation, where every detail is thought out - from design to facillties. We had everything we wanted and more. Host Kris was so lovely and welcoming. It all made for a very special stay. Was actually more spacious than I was expecting too. My boyfriend is 6ft5 and even he felt comfortable in the caravan. Also, being a stone's throw from the beach was the cherry on the cake. Samara itself is a 10min drive, but to be honest for us that was part of the appeal. STAY HERE, you won't regret it!!!
