We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Just steps from the beach, this family-run resort offers a peaceful location in Karterados Beach and a personalised service. The room had a sea view and location was nice and quiet. Nice restaurant just down the hill and a bus stop just a 15 minute walk away made it very convenient. Having a pool and beach access so close was amazing.

Smaragdi lies just 50 metres from the black beach of Perivolos. The Cycladic-style residence offers a large swimming pool, and a hot tub. Everything perfect, great location very close to the beach, nice pool, very clean and Maria very friendly and spoke Italian.

Roulla Villa, situated just a short walk from Perissa Beach, offers an outdoor pool with hot tub facilities and weekly Greek theme nights. Lovely, clean and close to Perissa beach and the bus stop. Staff were friendly, welcoming and so very helpful

Everything!! The staff, location, cleanliness, the decor, everything was perfect, Irini on reception during the day was outstanding. The man on night duty, Andreas, was also superb. As a polish person I like to complain on various of things, but staying in the Delion has left me speechless. Our stay was amazing, we received amazing support from the staff, beach was exactly 34 seconds away from out doorstep, we managed to recharge all the batteries. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone, who wishes to have a great vacation, Greek hospitality is truly one of a kind.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, cozy and private. The location is within 5-7 minutes from the best beach on the island and there are plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Stella, the host, was super kind and helpful, having our room ready before check in time and was always available for questions or recommendations.
