The accommodation provides karaoke and room service. Location is superb...tropical island with excellent facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Views are outstanding around the Atoll. Great to kayak. Went diving and snorkeling...saw whalesharks, manta rays, huge turtles. Lepord shark+++. Definitely a place to visit.

A recently renovated guest house, Maratua Guesthouse offers accommodation in Maratua Atoll. Set on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. The guest house features family rooms. I had a seaview bungalow and it was amazing. The view of the sea, the sounds of the waves. The terras is very private and comfortable to sit. The host Jun and his wife Anna are so friendly and easy going. This place does not feel like a hotel but more like you are part of the family. Anything can be arranged. Trips, hotels in your next place, whatever you need can be provided. I would have liked to stay much and much longer, also for the food that I liked very much. Jun speaks good English that makes things easy.

Guests at Derawan Fisheries Cottage will be able to enjoy activities in and around Derawan Islands, like fishing. Snorkelling and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a bicycle rental service and a private beach area are also available on-site. - not the same with photo - no WiFi - no toilet paper if you don’t ask for - no shampoo - no water sometimes they forgot to refill - hard communication. There is one guy why speaks English and nice. But it is hard to meet him. I felt completely lost and unassisted during stay.
