We were able to walk down to the beach the evening we arrived, and before leaving the next day enjoyed the nature trails. I can't imagine how they must look in another season. The Thai food was excellent in the restaurant as well.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking. The food in the restaurant was amazing. The main dish which recommended by the staff of the hotel was excellent and delicious.
