perfect location! ride to the ancient city is absolutely gorgeous and you can use the bicycle they have. hosts were super friendly, helpful and showed me around. really would recommend this place. breakfast was tasty and a lot. they even made me a lunch package.

The pool was very big, so great for our older children. It’s super close to the entrance if the ruins and the lake for sunset. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. The 2 Managers are very pleasant. They hired bikes for us.

I really enjoyed staying at Ekho Lake House, room was lush so as sunset, attentive staff and great food. I only stayed there one night and had an early morning check-out, they’ve prepped me the most amazing takeaway food.

Everything. The room was wonderful, The lake views were fantastic especially during sunset with a cocktail. Staff were so nice, especially Priantha who took personal care of us.

Lovely staff. Beautiful view of the lake. Saw two wild elephants in the lake in the distance. Nice sunsets at the property. Quiet area and good breakfast.

This hotel is just gorgeous. Real attention to detail. Beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and well turned out. You will not find a better location in Polonnarura for access to the ancient city. I watched the sunset over the lake with a wild elephant in the far distance (bring binoculars). Very friendly and relaxed staff - fab food.

Kind family, super helpful host. Tasty dinner for a good price. Good local breakfast. Nice lake with a beautiful sunset view in 10 min walks. The host helped us with everything, transfer around to see the sights, transfer to the bus station, asked how we can go to Ella by public transfer. Thanks for it!

lokatrd at a quiet psrt of town. 2 min walk to see sunset at the lake . Best room we have had in Sri Lanka . Everything was there in the room ,which is very clean and nicely decorated. The food is also very good . The family who runs the guedt house are super friendly and will do everything for you
