Great room on 1. floor with aircon, fan, safe, beautiful view of the sea, perfect balcony. Nice pool. The restaurant has good food, but there are also a few other options along the beach. Wifi comes and goes. Like in most (all?) hotels on Nosy Be, the aircon is run on the island's el supply, not the generator, so it doesn't work all the time.

The location was fantastic; stunning sunsets, and the oasis of greenery was amazing. The owner Pascal has dedicated the majority of space to the lovely gardens, swaying palms, and all things nature. Both Pascal and the manager Sandrine were incredibly helpful with everything and anything - scooter rental, dive shops, boat trips, trips to the national park, airline issues, local transportation - just a fantastic experience start to finish.

Breakfast and all meals were Amazing. Staff were incredible, kind and warm hearted. The attention to detail in the upkeep of the property was amazing. I've rarely found a better managed place. We saw lemurs every day, as well as Chameleons and other animals. They also have a wonderful pool and an incredible garden.

The spacious guest rooms include a balcony with sea views and a fan. Satellite TV is provided in some of the rooms and the bathrooms are fitted with a bath or shower. This placed exceeded our expectations, it is so beautiful, picturesque, it has a chill atmosphere, it is so so conformable, I can just stay here writing positive adjectives to describe it. The view from both the room and the pool is unbelievable, it mesmerizes you. The staff is friendly, even though we did not spoke french they were so professional and tried to communicate with us in the best way possible. You can order breakfast, lunch or diner and it will be served in your room since there is no restaurant. We loved this option, we had dinner every night there, it is so private, plus you have the beautiful view. Booking advertises this a 2 stars hotel, but honestly this place is way better than 4 starts hotels I have stayed at. With no hesitation I would recommend this place.

The host, Jao, was wonderful and went out of his way for us to feel completely at home. He and his wife and the staff were all very warm and caring and professional. The meals here were actually incredibly delicious, by far the best meals we had in all of Madagascar (and we were on a 1 month trip!). The place was wonderfully curated -- really an impressive catalog of taste and culture that felt like a real luxury, much more so than you'd ever expect from a stay of this price. Pretty much the perfect place to spend some time to relax especially in the sometimes hectic Nosy Be. We would return in a heartbeat. Thanks Jao!
