The hotel is right in front of the beach and it's super quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. The sunsets are amazing and the whole place feels peaceful. The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a fan and good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was included and it was fresh and tasty. We also tried some of the smoothies - really qood (no soft drinks) Hotel it has everything you need to relax and disconnect. We're Nicaraguan and it's not always easy to find a place like this close to home. Definitely recommended.

I loved the cabin, the place, and the atmosphere. Everything was very comfortable and well-maintained. The place was clean, well-located, and had everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I really liked the hospitality, the comfort of the room, and the tranquility of the place. Everything was excellent, I would definitely come back.

Really nice accommodation, felt more like an air B&B. Location was great right on the beach. Had to walk up the beach a bit for easier waves but waves right outside the door for more advanced surfers. The vibe was amazing , everyone , guest , staff, volunteers all so welcoming and warm! Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.

Bicycles available for use to explore the area. Shops nearby carry basic groceries, if you want anything special stock up in Leon ahead of time. Restaurants within walking distance if you don't feel like cooking. The owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area, where to rent a good surfboard and spots to surf. They are always willing to help out with anything you need to make your stay the best. Fluent in English , French and Spanish. Gaston the dog is the best. He's extremely chill and friendly.
