Whispering Sands Beachfront Motel is situated on Waikanae Beach, just a 10-minute walk from Gisborne city centre. Modern facilities were awesome loved the decor, I stay at motels quite often and this one sets itself apart from the others. The rooms were spotless, very tidy and clean! So impressed by this motel, the location was great having the beach right in front of us. Staff were so lovely and helpful couldn’t fault this place would 100% stay again

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. How close it was to everything. It was so modern and like a home away from home.

Ocean Beach Motel offers comfortable accommodation in Wainui Beach, just 5 minutes’ drive from the Gisborne city centre. Perfect about everything. Very good choice for vacation especially about escape from city :) Definitely come back again.

My visit was for study purpose so couldn't really get to explore the area, but I would love to go back and if at all I am back I would love to be in the same property!!
