Really cosy rooms, extraordinary tasty meals and exciting stories. The place is a little far from the Sevan lake, but you can take a scenic walk in the mountains and find your way down to the water and it's really worth it. The hosts are kind and hospitable people doing immense work on supporting and restoring the local community and cultural traditions. I'll definitely consider Etiuni for future trips to Sevan.

The place is awesome, very peaceful and quiet. The snow made it more beautiful for the winter season. The room with the bathroom was clean, warm, and very comfortable. They have a dining area with a kitchen, where I stay most of the time because of the ambiance and mountain view, perfect for my reading and relaxing, especially while having my breakfast. The location is easy to find; from Yerevan, I took a YandexGo taxi (you can download the app), which had a very reasonable fare (a minibus is also available, “Marshutka,” the owner will guide you how). As a solo traveler, I really felt at home and safe because the whole family was so supportive, and they are available to help any time. I will never forget my breakfast; it was very delicious, and I enjoyed it a lot. I arrive at night (almost 6 hours of land travel from Georgia), and they prepare a tasty dinner for me. The family was so kind that they were really so welcoming. My personal retreat and prayer encounter was truly great, for God blessed me with a wonderful experience in the BJNI Family Guest House with a very beautiful mountain view. On the opposite side of the BJNI Guest House is a typical river that is an excellent place for a short walk and to take in the local scenery.

We were literally very warmly welcome into this authentic home after a freezing bicycle ride in the mountains. Great hospitality of the family with delicious dinner and breakfast in a modest but comfortable house made this a high point in the adventure, that would otherwise be an very cold night in a tent. Rosa is a super host and her house is one of the loveliest in Armenia! The garden is beautiful and from our room we had Sevan lake view! Rosa's home made ricotta at breakfast was the most delicious ever! We shared the common space upstairs with two other rooms and enjoyed to drink tea together. The village is small and quiet. Ideal if you want a few days of rest away from the summer crowds :)
