Positioned half way between the Cathedral and old town and the Viking Village meant we were able to walk to both. The large bedroom is very comfortable and has a seperate bathroom off it. The dining, lounge area is massive and provides areas to work or relax. A fridge and tea and coffee making facilities are provided. Breakfast can be pre ordered. Large parking space. Entrance via the owner’s back door heading directly up the stairs to your own private space. The 3 horses out the back provide entertainment, no sign of the dogs mentioned in previous reviews. Very nice and very comfortable.

Beautiful view, very calm neighbourhood - basically the city ends there, but there is 15 minutes walking to the city centre anyways :)

We had a charming stay in a historic setting in Den Gamle Købmandsgaard B&B in Ribe. Our cozy room (with the centuries-old wooden mill wheel in the ceiling), friendly owners Johnny (and his daughter, Katja) were so hospitable. The simple yet delicious breakfast made for a delightful experience. I would highly recommend staying with Johnny et al, for exploring Ribe's medieval streets and attractions.

The room was very pretty. I liked the historic feel to the room and the hotel. The bed was comfy. I liked the rooftop window for lots of fresh air. The room and shared bathroom were spotless. I could walk to everything including the Viking Center. Check in and out was very easy and the host had great communication.

Den Gamle Arrest is a former prison, which lies within 500 metres of Ribe Train Station and Ribe Art Museum. It offers a guest TV lounge.

A cosy room with a very comfortable bed. A shared kitchen and a nice terrace with a beautiful and peaceful view on the fields, with the occasional sight of a hare or a couple of lapwings. A friendly host who can give you good advice on things to see and do in the area. What else can you ask?
