The place is beautiful!! Very clean, great decoration, full of nice details. The hamacas was one of my favorites. Nice breakfast a little expensive (5 dollars). Tito (the manager) was super nice, and the rest of the staff (Mario and Laura) were always taking care of everything with a big smile. I definitively recommend this place if you are looking for a place to enjoy the beach and going to sleep with the sound of the ocean.

What a wonderful staff. They helped us get book our activities, fed us wonderful food, and answered all of our questions. We had everything we needed right next to the beach. Quiet and clean. We hope to be back soon. Thank you for taking care of the beach!

We loved it here! The B&B really has a boutique style, and you see that every detail is thought through by the owners. We stayed in the seaview room which is lovely and spacious. It had a large comfy bed with a lot of pillows. The room even has a smart TV with a Netflix account so after a day of whale watching, you can relax and watch a movie on the mountain of pillows on the bed. The breakfast is great too! A more culinary version of the local breakfast with fresh fruits as well. Would definitely recommend.

Karen might be the single most helpful host I've ever had (and I've had a lot)! She was SO accommodating and quick to help. The room was comfy, kitchen handy, and there are two gorgeous dogs too :-)

Lovely hosts, beautiful view from the rooftop with many hammocks available. Nice and tidy rooms. 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Good breakfast available. Wonderful stay!

We asked if it was possible to be in a room with good internet, since we both work online. The next day they upgraded us to a better room with the best internet we had in the whole Ecuador. We could book tours at the accommodation and the staff was lovely and was always there for everything we need! They offered a really nice complete breakfast to start the day full of energy 💛 we will come back for sure in the future!

The rooms are nice and spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful custom art. The showers have hot water on demand. The staff are absolutely fantastic -- breakfast was always delicious and the staff were super friendly and always made me feel as though I was at home. Jhon, the host, makes great meals and cocktails and helped organize day trips for good prices. All in all, a really great place to get out of the city and relax.

Located over the Julio Izuerieta Seafront and only 20 metres from the beach, Whale House Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV in Puerto López. There is also a restaurant.
