The quality and facilities of the room (we had the twin room) were exceptional - better than many 5-star hotels. Breakfast was super - all freshly cooked, and more than ample. Host Dick was very genial and helpful. We had booked for two days, then found we needed three days - no problem.

Lovely stay at the Horseshoe. Ideal location for exploring Elan Valley. Beautiful breakfast. Paul and Laura were warm and friendly. Parking right outside and close to local places to eat.

Lovely warm welcome. Our room had been upgraded, too. Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food! The best salmon I'd had in a very long time. Good location near centre but very quiet.

Friendly staff welcomed me despite late arrival, even preparing a sandwich. Room was clean and comfortable. Secure bike storage in the shed was a big plus. Not fancy, but perfect for cyclists passing through.

Very spacious room, bed was like a cloud. As I was cycling through Wales I arrived late and it was no hassle at all, it was organised to pick up my keys from a different place (The Crown or the Lamb and Flag) before hand and the staff were brilliant, even had a place to store my bike overnight too. Also, breakfast the next morning was excellent.

It was all arranged with great efficiency, with very friendly hosts and great breakfast. Cosy atmosphere. The shower-had was of an un-Dutch design but very nice. Comfortable bed.
