The bathroom was sublime, genuinely one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever been in , and the regular bedroom was lovely as well. Everything is newly furnished (or at least looks it) and is lovely! Anne is a lovely host as well and very kind and welcoming. She comes with great tips.

The room was very confortable, the full irish breakfast was excellent, prepared with high-quality ingredients. Owners were lovely! Having a tea with home-made cakes and scones when coming home at night was very appreciated. The surrouding area is quite and nice, Ballycotton is cute with a nice cliff walk.

With its elevated position, Gabriel House looks out over Cork’s cathedral spires and the harbour.

I really enjoyed my stay. This trip wonderful experience started with a call to the hotel to let them know I will be checking in after midnight. I got the proper instructions and did not have any difficulties. My room was lovely with a garden view. The vintage interior creates a special atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious (scrambled eggs with salmon were my favourite). There is a store and a bus stop next to the hotel which makes the location just perfect. I am very pleased with this experience.
