A really lovely place to stay. Marie and her husband made me feel very welcome. The breakfasts were excellent, and I adored the pinhead oatmeal used for my morning porridge. The roads are quiet, and the location lovely.

We liked to stay Lisalway Country Lodge. It was incredible nice suit, comfortable bed, nice bath, Spotlessly cleaned everything. Including breakfast was perfect with homemade bread and fruit salad. Looking out over Lough Ree....amazing. Small farms...sheep running about...lovely. The host and hostess were SO welcoming, we spent ages talking. Really lovely two way conversation....a true traditional BandB. Welcoming fresh scone and tea. Breakfast was out of this world, great selection but special mention of the bacon...it was heavenly.
