Very nice little cabins, spacious and cosy with everything you need inside. Hot tub was nice with the fairy lights, nice quiet area. Shower and wifi good, kitchen good, comfy bed. Easy no contact check in. Plenty of hooks which I appreciate. Had a great sleep.

Our quite large studio was very pleasant and well presented. The bed was very very comfortable. The deck area at the front was a lovely place to enjoy the view over the farm with sheep and horses in the next paddock. A great place to finish the day in the sun with a glass of wine.

The exterior part of this guesthouse was being renovated but don't let this surprise you in a negative way. The interior however is as brand as new. Our room was very comfy and everything was fully renovated. It is a nice place to stay in the northern region of Iceland.

Cozy room with everything one might need. The owner encouraged us to use the natural hot spring next door which was simply AMAZING. We sat there for and hour under the stars sipping amaretto and watching the snow covered hills. Truly magical.

Our stay at Ásar Guesthouse was one of the best ever!! It was so easy and comfy for us and the whole house is really clean. I guess you can literally eat from the floor, haha. We spend 2 nights at Ásar and we loved the breakfast. Sometimes we didn‘t know what‘s decoration and what‘s food because it was so lovely served. Every morning we had nice conversations. We loved spending the evening hours in the hot pod - and yes this was absolutely the best place to watch the Northern Lights!!!! We even saw that in September! Summing up it was a really great stay here and we will come again! 12/10 points!

We booked this accommodation at short notice and received a friendly welcome. We had a nice room overlooking the harbor, we could see the cruise boat. The room was compact, but everything was there, excellent beds, a TV, excellent WiFi and a good bathroom. From the accommodation you can walk to the center in 5 to 10 minutes.
