Amazing property, idyllic location, calm and quiet. Beautiful living room/ dining room, full equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances. Comfy beds and very clean. The best accommodation in our 2-week tour through Iceland. The jacuzzi and the sauna are an absolute plus!! We fully recommend this guesthouse!! Thank you!

    The staff (a young lady) is very friendly :). There is also a cute cat named "Cat" welcomed us. The room is big, beautiful and clean with a private bathroom. There is a beautiful church nearby. I had a good time here. I like here :)

    It feels like a hotel even though it is quite remote and only reachable via gravel roads. There is a main building where the "reception" is (just ring the bell) and a side building where there are about 6 rooms, a common room with tables and a kitchen with a large shared refrigerator. Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy. The hotel offers good views over the lake in a very quiet location that is ideal to reach route F35 from the north.

    Spacious comfortable room and best private bathroom facilities of our entire 1 week trip. Communal kitchen was clean and well stocked with utensils. Beautiful outlook over the lake. Best stay we've had! Quick note: approx 5km of gravel road driving to the property but was very manageable with our 2wd.

    Very quiet rural setting. Wonderful view over a lake - great for sunsets. We had a room on the ground floor, the family/owners were upstairs and our shared kitchen and bathroom were just for the guests. Very little noise from upstairs. Good facilities, kitchen had all we needed.
