Our host was really welcoming, caring and informative. They took really seriously that every guest should feel like home and were proud of that they still give a classic guesthouse experience (of which they should). We ate the best breakfast here during our 12 days in Iceland! Exceptional variety and quality, with care prepared. The room was comfy, with an extra sink.

Breakfast was superb, such a beautifully decorated building and fantastic service. There was a massive variety of baked goods, fresh meats/fruits/yogurt etc. The room was quiet and spacious with very comfortable beds. We absolutely loved this hotel!!

This is a real gem of a place in the northern part of Iceland! Beautifully taken care of and run by the owners with a lot of engagement and heart! the rooms are excellent with a great view overlooking the landscape. The breakfast has everything you can wish for and is freshly made in a dedicated area with views also overlooking the area. It’s a real hideaway if you like some peace and quiet but also want to be close to main attractions in the North. As a single traveler I felt so warmly welcome that I really didn’t want to leave.
