Very friendly owner, probably the nicest we’ve ever encountered in our travels through Italy. Nice Italian breakfast with a lovely view on the terrace and soft background music. A splendid place in the midst of nowhere really. :) We booked in the middle of the night just to visit nearby places (we drove to Gargano, Vignanotica beach and spent another day in Bari + Polignano a Mare + Alberobello) and were very pleasantly surprised to find such a great place. I love interior design and this guest house is very thoughtfully built and designed. The lighting in particular was very nice, different small built-in lamps even in the bathroom. Highly recommend!

Stunning location and a remarkable property with an incredible family history. The owners, Pasquale and Antonella, made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were so well looked after and catered for. Many incredible sights to visit, all within walking distance, such as one of the oldest amphitheatre's in Italy - tickets were only 3 euros per person. We will definitely return to explore further!

Very nice breakfast. The location was perfect in a historic palazzo overlooking the cathedral and the central cathedral square. The welcome from Donnatella and her daughter was amazing. She was very concerned for us to be comfortable, explained everything really well, and even showed us some nearby historic sites, providing a lot of useful historic background from her deep knowledge of the city. Marilú her daughter did some great research on books we might buy and where to get them, on the history of Lucera. The rooms had real character and the antiquity of the building is a complete delight.

The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable, the pillows were soft, and the bathroom was equipped with many towels and soap. The fridge was working very well, there was A/C. Thanks to the owner, because he waited for us until midnight, was very kind and helpful. The parking was private, which was a biiig advantage. Absolutely recommend!

    Upon arrival owner had prepared a little aperitivo, spritz and snacks. Tons of stuff to prepare breakfast, too. Bed comfortable, quiet, excellent shower, hot water, and water pressure.

    The welcome was wonderfully warm and welcoming, the room lovely, with nice touches. It was a pleasant stay and Nicola couldn’t have been more kind. We stayed in the middle of winter, during foul weather. We were very comfortable. I think it would be even more charming in the summer, especially as our room had a fabulous terrace.
