Super friendly host. Would tell us interesting and funny stories and help us to make a plan for our trip! It was super clean and comfortable.

Very good value, everything was very clean , futons comfortable, aircon great. Room bigger than expected .We were there for the Osaka Expo and the metro leaving the venue broke down changing our arrival at the hotel time to unknown and after midnight. So happy that although check-in usually finishes at midnight the owner stayed up for us, was still welcoming and sorted out car parking etc. Felt like true Japanese hospitality beyond expectations. Big relief after standing 3 hrs in a very crowded broken train. Only drawback is the one shared bathroom/shower was a bit busy but we managed

The hotel is a great place to stay, a real recommandation. It is in a renovated historic building in a cute street with traditional houses (one of the main attractions in Gojo) parallel to the riverfront, you can walk along. The room was modern, spacious and very confortable with a riverside view. There is also a nice communal space with all the facilities, where you can make breakfast or dinner. The owner was very kind and helpful with suggesting and reserving places to eat and to sightsee. The place is nicely located in between and not far from attractions such as the temples at Koyasan, the blossoms at Yoshino, and archaeological sites at Akusa.

The traditional breakfast was awesome with local products and super tasty. The two showers were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable (especially super comfy comforter). The view was great. We came by car so I don't know about access otherwise.

Amazing stay, thank you Kei! This was a wonderful place to stay for a late arriving flight into KIX. For a whole room to yourself, you can’t beat the price. Room was small but very well appointed, comfortable single bed with powerful AC. The decor in the house was fantastic with heaps of maps and info about the area and Japanese culture covering all the walls. Lovely tidy little kitchen, drinking water provided, very clean shower and bathroom facilities downstairs with towels and shower toiletries provided. the room felt very private and as far as I could tell there were only three guest rooms so it’s definitely not a noisy party place, though there is a very nice communal area downstairs with books and movies to watch. Kei was a lovely host, very understanding when my Jetstar flight got delayed by 3 hours and I arrived at around 11:30 pm. The location is good, right near Minato station and a family mart. My recommendation for getting there from KIX, go to the ticket counter at KIX and get an ICOCA card, or a Kansai One Pass if you’ll be staying in the Kansai area, take the Airport Express to Nankai-Namba, change at Hagoromo to get on the Local to Nankai-Namba then get off a couple stops later at Minato. I made the mistake of changing at Izumisano to the Local to Nankai-Namba which stops at eeeeevery station along the way and took probably half an hour longer than it had to.

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!

Onsite parking is 1 min walk to the building. The villa is clean and contain everything I need for the stay. Great stay with my family!

The host, Chikako is really sweet and dependable. This guesthouse is conveniently located a few minutes away from Kishiwada station, in a quiet area, and the room was super cozy and comfortable !

Our family stayed here for one night on New Year’s Eve, and we could not have chosen a better place to be for the occasion. From the start of our stay until the end, this was a truly exceptional experience. The hosts picked us up on the train platform and drove us to the house. We stayed in a gorgeous and spacious room, which was perfectly warm. After slipping into our yukatas, we were pleasantly surprised that the hosts prepared an elaborate shabu-shabu dinner for us in a special room, to celebrate the New Year. Aside from the delicious food, the hosts also explained every single element of the meal in detail (from how it is prepared to how it should be eaten). We had amazing sake to go with the food. We have never before received such amazing attention and service during a meal as we have here. After dinner, the hosts prepared a traditional Japanese bath for us and kept it warm the whole time by burning wood, while we took turns bathing. We had heated futons to sleep on, and we felt extremely relaxed (but still in a celebratory mood) when the clock struck midnight. We were particularly grateful for the hosts’ time, given we had arrived a bit late after spending a long time in Nara earlier in the day. They stayed up with us and took excellent care of us, and we never felt rushed. We are incredibly thankful. In the morning, we could choose a time for breakfast at leisure. The hosts prepared yet another fantastic meal for us, an amazing traditional Japanese breakfast. Homemade, very tasty, and informative. There is a lot more we could say, but seeing as space is limited, we especially want to mention the beatiful courtyard in the middle and the modern bathroom. The surrounding area was also peaceful and very pretty, and we enjoyed walking to the station in the morning, seeing the architecture and nature in the countryside (though the hosts again kindly offered to drive us, we chose to walk for the experience). A wonderful, unforgettable stay. Thank you!
