A very nice, clean, modern, big, comfortable apartment with own bathroom, kitchen, living room, balcony and aircon in Anuradhapura. Very pleasant stay at an absoutely friendly and kind family. The owner was very friendly, organized also a good jeep safari tour for us in the Wilpattu National Park. When we asked breakfast and dinner, they were super delicious and huge amount. Good wifi. Check-in and check-out was easy. Very good vale for money. This was our best accomodation during our 2-week travel in Sri Lanka, I can absolutely recommend it. :)

Really nice place, i can definitely recommend it. The room itself and bathroom are very Clean, the bed is comfortable and has a good mattress. The room is equipped with everything you need and has both AC and a fan on the ceiling. Staff is very friendly. The House is located not directly on the Main street, therefore its very quiet at night. The House has a nice terrace in front, perfect to chill in the evening or enjoy the excellent breakfast (i had the local one). The owner of the place, sampath, is very friendly and helps you Out with everything you need. He organized some very cool Tours for me and gave me recommendations on where to eat and how to get arround. If you have some days to spend in anuradhapura stay at City tourist rest, you won't regret it.

Amazing place, walking distance to the Anuradhapura Town…We stayed for two days and had an incredibly comfortable experience. The cleanliness was absolutely 10 out of 10 – everything was spotless. Amazing place. Great service, the family is so kind and really does everything to make your stay the best it could be. They helped me with arranging a reliable and friendly driver to get from the airport to the guest house, and we stopped multiple times so I could try local fruits, so sweet. The son of the household showed me around Mihintale, and the parents provided a lovely meal every morning and evening at my requested time - absolutely amazing food that will keep you going for days haha! The room was very nice and clean. I was looking for something a bit more fancy, and definitely got what I was looking for and for a great price. Super comfortable bed and pillows, soft sheets and a nice bathroom. Environment is super calm and great if you're looking for some peace and quiet. Peacocks, chameleons and beautiful butterflies all around, you can spot everything from the comfort of your breakfast table. Honestly couldn't think of any improvements!

When we booked at the property the manager kalhara message me and told me he could pick us up at the buss stop for free and when we arrived at the property me showed us round and asked if we wanted tea or coffee and told me if we need anything or we need any advise about the area just to message him any time the room was top notch it was very well finished and tiled floor and nice fittings and had kettle and lots of coffee and different tea and water and he said if you need any more just let me know the next day I wanted to go and see the ancient city and temples and Kalhara and his cousin akash detailed we we should go and visit and organised a good scooter for us the next day we wanted to go to the train when we was leaving and he organised me a taxi and also the breakfast was fantastic lots of food and served outside in a nice area and also we both had a good nights sleep and the air con is really good to all in all it was a really good experience from booking and arriving to leaving 10 out of 10 from us
