I was at Serendip Villa for one month, this is a place for you if you want to be close to nature, have a quiet holiday (great for long-term as well!) and experience local culture, food and hospitality. Thanks to our hosts J. A. Saman and Manju I met a lot of locals, visited their homes, tried their food and was amazed by their goodwill. Our hosts are the best, they are the most kind, friendly, hospital and helpful people I met here! The place has a supermarket nearby, some local shops, bakery shops, a bank and a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Our hosts drove us to some local places close to nature to capture the greatest views I have ever witnessed. Also, a gorgeous beach is within 5-10 minute walk! Totally recommend this place, I would definitely come back, work online, eat delicious local food and enjoy a happy life in this Heaven on Earth!

Lovely friendly family who were very welcoming. They helped us get to Ella by arranging transport with one of their friends. The property is about 50m from the beautiful beach and a short walk into the town centre. We were also able to use their kitchen to prepare food.

The property is very beautifully done, very clean rooms. The pool was also well kept. The staff is extremely helpful and went over above to make sure we were comfortable throughout the stay. We absolutely loved being there. The breakfast was delicious and filling!

The room and the house was amazing, quiet, tidy, well organised and relaxing. The guys who welcomed me where the kindest and since the beginning I taught that I would have loved to stay more at this place. Thank you so much for the stay and I hope to come back soon! Beautiful near new property. Excellent value for money, comfortable, 2 minutes walk to the peaceful Talalla beach with its clear blue waters to swim in. We had dinner there both nights which were delicious. Our hosts were a friendly Sri Lankan family who treat their guests superbly. This place was one of the gems we stayed in on our trip around the island. We shall return.

Really lovely new guesthouse, ran by a very helpful friendly family. Only a few minutes walk from nice resturants, bars and the ocean and the room was very clean. Really appreciated the strong air con and hot powerful shower! Comfy bed, modern facilities and set back from the road a little so it was nice and quiet at night.We could easily walk to the popular surf point nearby too. One of the nicest places I've stayed in sri lanka!

Extremely welcoming and helpful family. Lovely property with nice new fresh rooms. I was stuck with nowhere to stay due to a misunderstanding. They took me in late at night, I had no bags with me, they gave me PJ's which was honestly such a lovely lovely thing to do. The breakfast the next-day was gorgeous. Dhal, sambol, potato curry, hoppers, the lot!! 2 types of desert. Genuinely lovely people. AND THEIR DOG!!! omg, the cutest fluff Ball I've ever seen.
