This is one of the best places to stay in Sigiriya. The location is amazing and very close to all the tourist attractions. Suman, the owner, is very nice. Helped me for the whole trip with transport and my wellbeing. The food was really good. The room was clean and spacious with good AC and WIFI.

My wife and I have always prefer to stay in an urban and nature environment. Firstly, I would say that the owners Mr. Mahesh and his spouse Mdm. Chandi has delivered the true Sri Lankan hospitality, they provided personalised services and always suggest the best on what activity we can do around Sigiriya. They even prepared fantastic meals for us based on our taste buds. They have never been pushy and that's the best 👌. Besides that, we have experienced a bombastic self vegetation plantation around the hidden lake cottages, If you are lucky 😃 actually every day is a lucky day, you will hear peacocks, cows, elephants and migration of various bird with their chippig sound and many other living creatures. It's like only ONE Call away and they are there to assist, In fact, Mr Mahesh shuttled us to the main road in order for us to take the bus. Little did we know that travelling by bus was satisfying and this was suggested by the beautiful property owners. Everything was so 👉 on point whereby on our last day, we did feel like we were gonna miss this home. Myself and my wife will definitely introduce this soothing and calm cottage to all our family, friends and those who need suggestions 😊. We had the best stay ever. Lovely place run by amazing people. The room are huge and clean, there’s AC, fan, hot water, kettle, big and comfy beds , everything you need. We had an amazing time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The rooms were really clean. The interior and exterior were very interesting,non common and eye catching. There are even tree swing and a tree house in the yard. And don't miss to order a dinner, it was delicious!

Without a doubt, the couple who run the hotel are the loveliest people you will meet in Sri Lanka. They are the kindest, sweetest people. They welcome you like family. They were so kind to my travel companion who was staying in a hotel nearby. - Communication was easy and quick - They organised our taxi from Negombo to Sigiriya; on the day, our plans changed and the couple helped us reorganise the taxi to a new pick up location and time - They organised our onward taxi to Kandy, including a stop at Dambulla caves on the way - Breakfast was a huge spread of omelette, chapati (cooked on a real wood fire) with sambol & dal, fresh fruit (watermelon, papaya, banana, passion fruit), tea / coffee. We skipped lunch. - The room was spotlessly clean - There was an electric shower, whilst not the most powerful, was hot. There was a second shower, more powerful but cool water. - The room had a lovely balcony for breakfast - They organised a safari / elephant tour. The host came with us to make sure we had a good time, spotting animals, taking photos, keeping us safe. We saw SO MANY ELEPHANTS, including lots of babies. Do it, it’s amazing - and cheap. - They gave us a thoughtful parting gift (I won’t spoil it, but we will treasure it) - Towels, soap, shampoo included - Good air con - The host saw a male peacock dancing outside our room and told us to come out to watch - amazing We paid for everything (taxis, breakfast, room, safari) at check out - they only accept cash.
