Very lovely place to stay with all the necessities and a very cute and cosy sofa area, Isabel and Mohammed were very kind. On our arrival we were tired and asked whether we can order something for dinner, they were very helpful and prepared delicious homemade food in no time even though we did not inform them in advance. Very comfy and clean rooms. Highly recommend this place if its in your way to the next destination.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Kalaat MGouna, Bab El Atlas is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

A little slice of paradise a few kilometres out from the town centre of Kalaat MGouna (The valley of the Roses) which is easily accessible using public transport. A tranquil oasis with stunning views of the surrounding area. Plenty of terraces to get away from the bustle of modern life and soak in the picturesque beauty. The accommodation is fantastic, Brigitte and the staff feel more like a family. The food was traditional Moroccan, each meal was exceptional. This is one place we will return to again.

The hostel is located in a small village which is very quiet.There is also a nice garden and roof top you can relax, the night sky from roof top is amazing And family is super sweet and caring. They gave us tea, mineral water and soup for free. The Little boy of the family Yasin speaks English and he looks very smart we like him a lot. We wish the whole family best

Mohammed and Fatima are the most welcoming hosts. An authentic Moroccan Dar (home) shared with a warm and genuine family. Fatima provided a tasty home cooked tagine dinner for us. Breakfast was nice too. Fatima and her daughter also managed two large loads of washing for us, and got it dry by the next morning (we had been on the road for 2wks). Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was for our use only. We met the neighbour (and her children) who is photographed making the bread for our dinner. If we can ever return to Morocco we would just love to stay again at Dar Mayssa Rose with family Baba.

Our stay with Nathalie and Ali was absolutely wonderful. During our two-week trip through Morocco, we never felt more welcome than we did with this charming couple. KASBAH ALTAÏR has been created and furnished with so much love and care – you can feel it in every corner. The room is big, very nicely and tastefully decorated. The house was built with the typical local materials and in the traditional style of this region. Since the home is away from the main road, it's very quiet and peaceful. Aziz and his family are wonderful hosts - very helpful and kind. I hope we can be back one day and go hiking with them!

The kasbah has the best atmosphere and is in a beautiful location and with a terrace over the rose valley, just perfect for sunset! The food is amazing and so is the staff! Aziz, is the best guide, funny, sweet, experienced and willing to help! The interiors are beautiful with many details and made entirely from local Moroccan cooperatives! I have no better words to describe how magic it was out stay there! We miss it, and Inschallah we will be back!

This place is just marvelous! We went to stay at a Kasbah but ended up being part of a Morrocan family. Abdoul, Mustafa, Mohamed, Yusuf and their sisters made us feel very much at home. Their property is gorgeous, beautifully maintained and we even got upgraded to a very spacious room with all the amenities. Since Mohamed is a tour guide he organized a hiking day for us - ask for Ibrahim, he showed us his vallée des roses with an authentic lunch stop at a kasbah somewhere in the mountains and taught us so many details about this beautiful region. The food at Kasbah Tussna was of great variety and among the best we had in the two weeks we spent in Morrocco. "Tussna" means "to make friends" in Berber - it definitely delivered on that promise.
