My stay at Ren i Tang was wonderful and is already providing good memories just a few days after leaving. From the moment I arrived until the day I left I was given so much care and attentiveness. The personal touch that you receive here is invaluable. The hotel itself is a renovated heritage shop and it seeps with interesting and quirky items and touches. Every corner has some cabinet or display that will catch your attention. The facilities are excellent: my room was spacious, the bed comfy and large, the bathroom and shower just right. There is a cute cafe which is part of the hotel and the food here is simply done and exceptional. This is where breakfast is served and I really enjoyed this. I also tried the herbal chicken soup for lunch and this is highly recommended if you are feeling a little run down. The staff here are wonderful and the hotel is lovely indeed.

It’s a traditional shophouse with over 100 years history. The room was very spacious and newly renovated so it’s full equipped. We arrived early morning but was allowed an early checkin. The staff was very helpful, thoughtful and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely stay there if we visit Penang again!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful self check-in hotel. The check-in process was smooth and super easy, with clear instructions provided. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day. I loved the simple yet elegant design, and everything I needed was already prepared. The location was quiet and convenient, making it a peaceful getaway. Although there was no front desk, the service was still excellent through online support. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended for a hassle-free, cozy experience! 🩷

    Great hostel in the midst of town. Rather quiet compared to others. Lovely staff! Talkative if you want, private if needed. They give a lot of tips in and outside Georgetown and help with anything when asked. The whole place is rather large and relaxed. Would recommend!

    i loved everything, the owner was the sweetest person he even got me a couple of vegetarian puffs to try and they were amazing! is a great location with the city centre (Chulia street love lane etc.) on walking distance! the hostel is extremely cheap and they have a lovely common area (lounge with little kitchen)
