SwitzerlandExtended my one week stay into a two month stay. Absolutely loved this place. The volunteers currently running the place are absolute legends and make sure you feel right at home.
Location is secluded, unusually close to the water and super lush. Surfed the boom everyday. No problem to walk there and even less of a problem when you have a bike.
The newly upgraded kitchen is really well equiped, super spacious and always very clean.
There is free drinking water and amazing fresh bread that you can order for 1.50 USD only.
Make sure to stack up on food in Chinandega or Leon before you come. You can get basic stuff in town, no cheese no good coffee etc. though..
Wanna surprise the hardworking volunteers? Bring some extra cheese from Chinandega, they will be forever gratefull 🙏
