What an interesting place, mixing modern and traditional elements in a harmonious way. The rooms are quite small - or you could say cozy! But in exchange, the beds are the most comfortable we've had in Nepal (and India!) and the bathroom is the most modern and high quality that we've seen in the country. The view from the hotel rooms and the terrace is beautiful. You can see the snow-capped mountains from your bed if the clouds aren't in the way! On top of that, the host family is wonderfully kind and the ladies are great cooks. They're always ready to help and have a great vibe. Be sure to give them enough advance notice for your meal and they'll cook whatever you ask! It is also perfectly located, right at the entrance of the pedestrian street, so that you can get dropped off right at the door (for other hotels you'd have to carry your luggage), and yet it's right by all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here if I'm ever in Bandipur again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Diva's Guest House, right in the heart of Bandipur. There's a wonderful feminine energy from the daughters, the mother, and the fantastic grandmother who manage the entire place (plus their adorable son). I highly recommend trying their super-authentic and delicious Nepali food! I'm confident that in the future, they'll also offer cooking lessons because they absolutely should ;) I definitely recommend a stay here, and the next time I visit Bandipur, I know exactly where I'll be staying. Hotel Old Inn is a very nice place, where the style of old Newari houses has been very well preserved. There are of course some drawbacks to this deliberate choice, but which were not a problem to us: rooms are not very large, they are a bit dark, and equipment is limited (no TV set for example). But again, we like and support this choice. The staff is nice and efficient. Having breakfast on the terrace facing the mountains is wonderful, and we also had a very nice (but small) balcony with Himalaya view adjacent to our room. Be aware that the hotel is on Bandipur bazaar, which is a pedestrian-only area. We had heavy luggage, but our driver called the hotel and hotel staff came to help us carry our luggage to hotel while we were walking. And they also helped us in the same way when we departed Bandipur.

Great location and really nice staff.The top floor restaurant is excellent.The family that run it treat their guests as if they are family.Bandipur is a must do stop over.

The room had a nice sunny balcony (the side opposite to the road), it was quiet, hot shower, breakfast was the type you always get but it was good (toast and eggs), I also had lunch there and it was really good! The staff was also very nice and helpful, the owner even helped me get a taxi for a cheaper price. I would highly recommend!
